Align Again Sessions offers several ways to do this work, depending on your goals, your nervous system, and the kind of support you’re looking for. Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if this therapy is right for me?
If you can identify the changes you want to make, but still feel pulled back into old patterns, this approach is likely a good fit. Align Again Sessions is designed for people whose nervous systems stay stuck in stress responses like anxiety, shutdown, overthinking, burnout, or emotional reactivity. If you’d like help deciding, a consultation call is the easiest way to evaluate fit. Schedule One Here >
How many sessions of therapy will I need?
Once a psychological map is made, we'll have a guide to your individual nervous system. Some people come in for short-term support and pattern interruption, while others choose longer-term work for deeper integration. Most people experience significant changes in their brains and bodies after 4-6 sessions.
How often do I need to go to therapy?
This depends on your goals, time, energy, and resources. Some people benefit from weekly sessions at first, while others do better biweekly or monthly. Together, we’ll build a frequency that works for your lifestyle and supports real progress.
How long until it works?
You'll notice changes within the first one or two sessions, especially in clarity, nervous system awareness, and emotional regulation. Longer-standing patterns take time to unwind, but the goal is for progress to feel practical and sustainable, not overwhelming.
Do I need to choose online or in-person?
No. A hybrid model is always an option. Some people prefer in-person sessions, while others benefit from virtual sessions depending on schedule, comfort, or season of life. You can blend formats in whatever way supports your system best.
Do I need individual or couples therapy?
Choosing isn't necessary. Many people start with individual sessions to build clarity and regulation, then integrate couples sessions as needed. Therapy can be structured in a way that supports both you and your relationship.
Does Align Again Sessions accept insurance?
Align Again Sessions does not accept insurance at this time. HSA payments are accepted, and payment plans are available upon request.
What should I look for in a therapist?
Look for someone who feels emotionally safe, grounded, and clear. You should feel respected and understood, and also gently challenged in a way that supports growth. The relationship matters as much as the technique. A consultation call is a great way to feel out fit before committing.
